What’s On

Stirling Carers Centre offers groups, events, and activities to support carers.  If you are registered with the Centre you can take part in any of our activities free of charge.  Find out about our regular groups below, or see our most recent newsletter for special events.

Booking is essential for some events and activities.  Contact the Centre to book.


Regular Groups
My Time

Last Thursday of the month, 6-8pm, venue varies

‘My Time’ groups are relaxed evening events for carers. Sessions include visiting speakers, relaxation activities and theme nights amongst others. Buffet/meal provided, booking essential.

Coffee Mornings

Third Friday of the month, 10.30am-12pm, Stirling Carers Centre

Our coffee mornings are a great opportunity to meet informally with other carers. We provide the refreshments, you bring the chat. No need to book, just drop in.

Male Carers Group

The Male Carers Group runs day trips throughout the year. It is an opportunity to meet other men in similar situations, in a friendly and supportive environment. Lunch provided, booking is essential. Previous trips include Falkirk Wheel, The Transport Museum, The National Museum, and in November the group enjoyed a tour of Kelvingrove Art Gallery followed by a visit to the Botanic Gardens.

Rural Carers Group

Second Wednesday of the month, 12-2pm, venue varies

Rural Carers Group takes place monthly and is a chance to meet with other rural carers. Have a go at something new or learn more about support services available in your area. The venue alternates between Callander and Killearn. Lunch provided, booking is essential.

Complementary Therapies

By appointment at Stirling Carers Centre or in Callander

Free relaxation and beauty therapy sessions are available for both male and female carers. The 45 minute sessions include reflexology, massage and beauty treatments. Contact the Centre for an appointment.
